I never thought I'- would be one of those people posting before and after photos, but here I am. My teeth had shifted a bit after college, nothing dramatic, just enough that I stopped smiling with teeth in photos. My dentist mentioned diamond braces during a regular checkup, kind of as a joke at first, and I laughed too, until I actually looked them up that night.

I went in expecting the usual metal brackets and instead walked out with these tiny diamonds catching the light every time I talked. My orthodontist said the mechanics were exactly the same as regular braces, so it wasn't going to slow anything down, it just looked completely different in the mirror.

Seven months later and I still catch myself smiling at nothing, just because I can. People stop me at work, at the gym, even a stranger at a coffee shop once. I get compliments every single day, and honestly I was not prepared for how much that would change my mood on an average Tuesday.
